Mountain Dew Baja Blast is a tropical lime-flavored soft drink created specially for the restaurants of Taco Bell. It first appeared in 2004, designed to go well with the Mexican foods on the menu of the chain. The drink has existed for almost twenty years so it accompanied Taco Bell more long than Doritos Locos Tacos or the food options of the chain.
The flavor mixes the typical taste of Mountain Dew with hints of natural and fake tropical lime flavor. It belongs to the more refreshing kinds among the sodas, rather than the too sweet variants of other Mountain Dew products. The brand Baja Blast grew during the time, adding fresh flavors and forms.
Baja Blast: Taco Bell’s Tropical Lime Drink
Currently there are four various tastes. Among them are alcoholic versions with 5-percent alcoholic content. Moreover there is a sugar-free version, that adds interesting twist to the clasiscal one without any sweet.
