About Starbucks
Employees at Starbucks are called partners. The company stresses that it not simply sells coffee to folks, but helps folks by means of coffee. They form the core of the whole Starbucks experience.
Becoming a partner means wanting to join something bigger, that drives positive changes and allows you to grow in professional career and in socail group.
Names of drink sizes in Starbucks commonly confuse. The three basic options are Tall, Grande and Venti. Tall holds 12 units and acts as the usual little portion, although the word itself sounds impressive.
Almost all milk-based espresso drinks, for instance latte and cappuccino, receive only one shot in that amount. Grande has 16 units, and although in Spanish it means “big”, at Starbucks it works as medium. Espresso drinks of Grande include too shots.
Venti reaches 20 units for warm options and 24 for cold. In addition there is Trenta with 30 to 31 units, available only for iced drinks. Those names come directly from Italian traditions.
There are also less known sizes. Short serves as an even tinier option for some kinds. Demi is the little 3-unit cup for espresso shots.
Although 3 units seem few, because a standard shot is only 1 unit, it can still fill the whole dose. One simply adjusts the main recipe of every drink to ensure the same taste, regardless of the amount.
Starbucks enjoys popularity thanks to the rich range of coffee drinks. The chain even offers something that helps smokers control desires. Main seasonal drinks are handmade.
Clients can order ahead by means of the Starbucks app, which makes everything faster. Members of the loyalty program save their recipes, track past orders, mark favourite stores and remember preferred payment modes. They receive extra benefits, like free Tall warm or iced coffee on festive occasions.
Among its brands are Seattle’s Best Coffee, Teavana, Tazo, Evolution Fresh, The Boulange, Ethos Water and Torrefazione Italia Coffee. The Starbucks Reserve Roastery in Chicago is considered the biggest store of the chain in the world. Reserve Roasteries and stores everywhere in the world present exclusive coffees, signature cocktails and hands-on coffee experiences.
Basically, Starbucks shows up everywhere… It stays the most successful big chain, although somecities favour local independent coffee stores.
