Qdoba Mexican Eats is a chain of fast food restaurants in United States and Canada, that offers Mexican inspired cooking. This Mexican store delivers custom and delicious food. One can add cheese sauce and guacamole free to any main plate which is a good deal compared to other stores.
The name Qdoba does not have a Spanish meaning. It simply is a created brand name for business.
About Qdoba Mexican Eats
For 15 years Qdoba belonged entirely to Jack in the Box. Later the company passed into hands of an investor group, led by Apollo Global Management, in March 2018. Currently it works as a place for fast service, combining nice flavors with brave expansion.
The menu allows clients to prepare their own burritos, tacos, nachos and others. Freshly prepared foods, inspired by Mexican tradition, mix modern tastes. There are many meats to choose, and the steak costs fairly.
Also there are affordable vegetarian options. Even meatless meat shows up in some places. The tastes adjust often and do not stay the same, unlike chains that always repeat the same thing.
Cheese sauce is a key element. It ranks between the best on the list, and that cheese sauce with guacamole comes free with a burrito or bowl, which makes it even more attractive. A popular combination is a burrito with habanero-lime steak, brown rice, great cheese sauce, fajita vegetables, jalapenos, Chilean cream, habanero sauce and a bit of sour cream.
Rice tastes well, just like the beef crispy tacos.
After rolling burritos they press them under a press. Portions usually turn out big. One portion of meat weighs around 3.5 units.
The target is to reach 4 units of rice and 3.5 units of beans with meat. Chicken nachos serve as big plates.
Red sauce at Qdoba is more mild and matches what a classical Mexican store lays on the table. Veggie sauce recently changed to include fresh coriander and a new base. There are also sides, and the birria brisket has a texture that melts in the mouth, witch impresses.
Cooking at Qdoba mostly depends on time. Cooks care about everything behind the curtain, including grilling, bean making, meat and cheese sauce warming and rice prep. Lists help to keep enough stock ready.
Some stores closed during the years. New Qdoba opened in Sioux Falls, the first here in around 12 years. Nutrition info is present for bowls, burritos, quesadillas andmore on the website of Qdoba.
