🧵 String & Text Analyzer Calculator
Analyze any string — check length, detect empty values, count words, bytes & more
"") has length 0. A whitespace-only string (e.g. " ") has length > 0 but contains no visible characters. Use Trim Both Ends to detect truly blank input in your forms or code.

str.length === 0 checks for empty strings. Always str.trim().length === 0 to catch whitespace-only input. In Python use len(s) == 0 or not s.strip(). In PHP use strlen(trim($s)) === 0.
First, converters simply are programs that change one type of measure to another. They deal with everything, from length and temperature to surface, amount, mass and duration. Here they show up everywhere in all everyday pages on the net, mobile apps, even built right in your tools.
A good option is a free online converter, that covers the main types, but also extends to dozens of extra groups. What is nice about some of those is that they have a smart main part. Once you start to enter something, the program offers what changes could make sense.
How Unit Converters Work
Like this one can well handle many types of measures, without feeling weak.
Now, the many converters do not limit only to measures. They care about money, density, energy, force, power, pressure, speed and storage of data in bits. Here exists one program, that offers more than 2 100 units, spread through more than 70 different groups.
Other promises to simply change everything into anything else, with thousands of units and millions of possible changes at your fingers.
Here is how conversion truly works: it presents the same amount under another form. A bottle of water with 510 milliliters stores exactly teh same amount, whether one calls it like this or says it in liters. The calculation comes down to multiplying by a factor, that equals one, what keeps the value same, while one swaps the unit.
Mobile apps became very common also. One famous app delivers live updates for all important world coins, fully 155 of them, updating daily across 20 groups. There is also an app for Windows, that deals with amount, temperature, mass, speed, time and length changes.
Oh, and most phone calculators already have a converter hidden somewhere, usually beside that famous button.
Converter NOW stands as a fast, free, open-source option without ads and without tracking. It shows the changes in real time right away, when you enter. The same happens four some websites…
They give results right away, while you type, without need of menus or buttons to change.
PowerToys have a built-in main converter also. It appears as a fast widget on your computer. Honestly, one can simply enter a change right in the search bar of the phone, if one is in trouble.
Something like “100 joules in calories” gives an answer in seconds.
Cooking needs its own special converters, and that for good reason. Kitchen calculators help with amount, mass, length, time and temperature changes, that commonly show up in recipes. They jump between cups, grams, units, teaspoons, tablespoon amounts, you name it.
Some kitchen converters are so clever, that they freely swap between volume and mass units, not only simply one. Baking especially needs this, because recipes commonly need changes between cups and grams or units and mg amounts fordifferent ingredients.
Tools for scaling recipes let you change the number of servings without big effort. The factor for change comes from dividing the wanted servings by the original servings. For scaling a recipe for an 8-inch round pan to 9-inch, one multiplies every amount of ingredients by 1.27.
