Match the weight to the state. Use raw weight for raw broccoli and cooked drained weight for cooked broccoli; cooked cups are denser than raw cups.
Use retention for estimates. The USDA raw and boiled entries are fixed references; for steamed, microwaved, or roasted broccoli, adjust retention if your broccoli is cooked longer or with more water.
